Platinum Series French-Made Humidors from Prometheus
Nine years after Prometheus introduced their first humidors to the market they have designed and released the Prometheus Platinum Series. Designed and crafted in France, each humidor in the Platinum series features a satin finish and nickel-plated locking mechanism. The humidors are lined with a mahogany veneer and equipped with the Prometheus Optima humidifier system and digital hygrometer/thermometer. Humydrole Clay Elements
Ultimate Cigar Protector humidification elements from Atmos Products use the company’s time-tested Humydrole clay-based technology. Originally developed in 1925 specifically for tobacco use, Humydrole features an improved formulation to automatically provide proper moisture for cigars and tobaccos. The Ultimate ($50 retail) can properly maintain humidity levels for 50–125 cigars; the Junior Ultimate ($40 retail) between 20–40 cigars; and Round ($10 retail) between 15–25 cigars. Humydrole consists of inert organic and inorganic compounds that are harmless to tobacco; the material will not drip once excess water has been drained off, and it appears dark brown in color when wet and light brown when dry, visually alerting users when additional water is needed. Arango Humidor Fresh 50/50 Solution
